I am not a “music guy.”

Let me rephrase that – I am not a “going to a bar and seeing a live band guy.” The potential for long sets of bad music is just too high. Sure I’ve missed local national music stars Dr. Dog and, um, The Hooters playing live, but just being slightly off-center hip-wise is my lot in life.

Plus it’s just too darn loud.

Largo: The Movie makes me want to go see live bands. Music looks fun in this trailer (which is beautifully shot in black & white). It has energy and inspiration and excitement. It also features some of my favorite comedians: Zach Galifianakis, Paul F. Tompkins, Flight of the Conchords and Mr. Patton Oswalt.

Looking forward to seeing it!

  1. Hey, thanks for the link!

I saw a comment come through from you, but it had an error in it so it was promptly deleted as spam somehow. :(

If you care to stop by and try again, I’ll be happy to approve a new comment directing people over here to your place.

It’s interesting… as music fans we were so excited about the players and writers in the movie, but yeah… the comedians are going to kill, as well. I really dig FotC, Tompkins and Sarah Silverman.

    Cheers!
