This is another in a long list of examples of just how pervasive and popular Star Wars was. It was incorporated into everything – lunchboxes, disco, Donny & Marie. It begs the question (kinda), did the landmark merchandising of the film open the floodgates of Star Warsiness saturating the culture? Did it ultimately cheapen Star Wars or increase it’s viability? Am I trying to sound smarter than I really am? Is incredulity really a word?

Ehh…
