I’m as much a movie nerd as I am a comedy nerd as I am a geophysics nerd. A movie like this is incredibly appealing to the cinepheliac in me. But this being the planet earth, it does have the potential to be an other example in a great idea that is just that — a great idea that eventually goes nowhere and ends up sucking. It could also be the coolest movie valentine since Living in Oblivion. (Remember that one, folks?)
Given Michel Gondry directed it, I am leaning towards the latter.
